Good stuff!
Good stuff!
That's amazing!
Not bad at all, pretty good in fact, it's actually the first good remix I've heard of this track (though it's not like i searched for any in the first place, but still) The only thing in my opinion that I'd like more is to be able to hear more the rest, I feel like the bass and stuff is pretty loud compared to the rest, though maybe that was intentional or it's just me. Still good job!
Thank you. We appreciate your feedback!
Sounds amazing!
Thank u! :D
Fallais qu'on manque notre St-Jean, ah pis, m'attendais pas à trouver l'hymne national, mais sa sonne surprenament pas pire
Really atmospheric, that's for sure, though i feel like there's a bit too much. Not sure if you get what I'm saying, like the layers are all blending together and it's kinda confusing, but maybe it's just me, who knows.
Well, thank you!
Anyway you are right, I know I may have put a bit too many things and I had to remove some sounds to add different ones, so it ended up a bit confusing and noisy. Maybe because I also put a lot of percussions, but that was because I didn't want to make the usual four-on-the-floor thing, so I made it sound a bit crazy and more like breakbeat or something, and that's also the reason why I didn't put sidechain effect because it would have been a real mess.
I like it, all I can say is that I find the "kick" a bit too soft or something. But other than that, it sounds good I think, I like the ambiance.
Remind me a bit of "74 is the new 24" and other stuff, sounds amazing, the only thing i guess that ticked me off a little, is that with all the phaser effect and all, it sounds like there's not enough bass, but maybe that's just me and it was intended, I don't know. But really amazing track and sounds, great work!
Haha this track is not just really old, but indeed very flawed. I did base this track around the phasers, it was sort of the theme as I had never used phasers before (because they are so cheesy lol). I think they're fine, and my least favourite is the thin sound design and somewhat messy mix. I wanted to add a trap part with a dubsteppy bass as a goal, and to experiment see what it's like to implement genre changes. It was my first time doing them so naturally it sounds a bit amateurish. And I dislike repetitive melodies (I just sucked at composing). At the time I was so tired of tweaking it endlessly that I just released it, as finishing a project is miles better than having a perpetually work-in-progress track that you never finish. I've come a long way since then, but this track definitely played a part in my experience as a producer.
But thank you for the honest review, and I'm glad you liked it!
